Dental Claims Approver II
About the position Responsibilities • Process data entered, scanned, electronically submitted, and dental claims that can't be pended. • Switch mail types when requested. • Handle pressure in a production environment. • Demonstrate analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. • Investigate and respond to written appeals, inquiries, and complaints. • Follow up on claims that need additional information or are pending in the system. Requirements • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality goals. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficient PC skills including mainframe systems. • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and navigate multiple computer applications. • Good attendance and willingness to work overtime when requested.
