The Analytics Specialist will be asked to work closely with leaders to develop creative solutions to current challenges. We are looking for data curious individuals who seek to understand process and can connect with our business partners to leverage data and drive improvement. Overview & key responsibilities
Locate and extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, models, and project development
Aggregate views of data sources into meaningful hierarchies
Develop and improve automated reports and analyses to support senior divisional leaders and business units
Create insightful executive-level and frontline dashboards using data visualization tools
Understand drivers of the KPIs through various analyses and work closely with the business team to create solutions
Present findings to business leadership
Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
3+ years of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field
Successful candidates will have familiarity and/or experience with some or all of the following: SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire or other database interface tools and languages
Direct experience communicating with stakeholders, delivering projects end-to-end, and working collaboratively to drive improvement in the overall analytical support of Delta operations worldwide
Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

Candidates for this position may have completion of a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or other relevant quantitative field
