Delivery Stream Engineer

This role involves verifying quality and technical requirements for various projects and managing supplier relationships within the APX Supply Chain.ResponsibilitiesSupplier Assessment:Support Supplier Identification and down selectionSupport completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations (as needed)Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations (as needed)Support Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation (i.e., draft SAP requisition for RFQ including all technical and quality requirements)Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetingsSupplier Oversight:Support creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and scheduleSupport coordination and execution of Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold PointsSupport the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizationsSupplier Development & Management:Create Agendas and support Kick-Off meetings with SuppliersSchedule and support regularly scheduled meetings (e.g., bi-weekly, weekly, etc.) with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team MembersSupport Westinghouse Project Support Team ExecutionSupport execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold PointsSchedule and support pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activitiesSupport Purchase Order (PO) Change Notices (as needed)Provide periodic Project Schedule UpdatesProvide input for periodic Customer Status UpdatesEnsure all required Supplier PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentationEnsure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipmentEnsure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIMESend QR/QADP to the site or customer (as defined by the project) after it has been archived in PRIME to aid in receipt and turnover of equipmentWork with Westinghouse Logistics to arrange for shipmentSkillsBachelor's Degree or higher in EngineeringWillingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier developmentBenefitsComprehensive Medical benefits which could include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage and Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions optionsWellness Programs designed to support employees in maintaining their health and well-being including Employee Assistance Program providing support for our employees and their household members401(k) with Company Match Contributions to support employees' retirementPaid Vacations and Company HolidaysOpportunities for Flexible Work Arrangements to promote work-life balanceEducational Reimbursement and Comprehensive Career Programs to help employees grow in their careersGlobal Recognition and Service Programs to celebrate employee accomplishments and serviceEmployee Referral ProgramCompany OverviewWestinghouse Electric Company provides innovative and secure nuclear technology solutions.
