Responsibilities Logistics Specialist:
Ā Operate company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
Ā Immediately report any negative incidents with other drivers, accidents and customers to Dispatcher or Dispatch Manager
Ā Load and unload shipments between various destinations as assigned
Ā Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for delivery or pick up to ensure timely and accurate transportation
Ā Responsible for vehicle care, cleanliness and required equipment in each vehicle.
Ā Maintain a valid drivers license
Qualifications for Logistics Specialist:
Ā Valid Drivers Liscense
Ā The employee is required to frequently lift and/or move packages weighing up to
Ā 25 LBS throughout a given shift, and to occasionally lift and/or move packages
Ā weighing up to 70 LBS
Ā While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance & stoop to lift packages Ā including lifting packages from the floor over their head.
Ā Must be willing to learn to operate a pallet jack and forklift
Shift Options:
M-F 4:00 AM-12:00 PM (1 opening)
M-F 12:00 PM-8:00 PM (1 opening)
