Delivery Driver

CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to crisis response and resilience-building in communities affected by disasters. Our mission is to support vulnerable populations through immediate relief efforts and long-term recovery initiatives. In Southern California, CORE is actively engaged in fire response activities, focusing on rapid deployment, community mobilization, and resource distribution.Position Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to transport and deliver air purifiers to designated addresses throughout Los Angeles. Drivers will use company-provided rental vehicles based at our warehouse in Rosemead, CA. This role requires strong time management, customer service skills, and the ability to efficiently navigate urban routes. Drivers will also use delivery tracking software to ensure all deliveries are accurately recorded and completed. Key Responsibilities
Load, transport, and deliver air purifiers to customers in a safe and timely manner

Operate a company-provided rental vehicle, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
Follow pre-determined delivery routes and adjust as needed for efficiency
Use delivery tracking software to record deliveries, confirm drop-offs, and update status in real time
Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring on-time deliveries and addressing inquiries professionally
Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports using the assigned tracking system
Report any vehicle issues, delays, or route changes to the warehouse manager promptly
Adhere to work schedule: 8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break
Qualifications
Must be 21 years or older
Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions throughout Los Angeles
Experience using delivery tracking software or mobile logistics apps

Strong time management and attention to detail

Previous delivery, courier, or driving experience preferred (USPS, Amazon, FedEx, or similar roles a plus)
