Dedicated Online Special Education Teacher for Students with Learning Disabilities

Are you passionate about supporting students with learning disabilities in an online setting? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. In this role, you will develop and implement effective online teaching strategies, create and manage digital Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning plans, and provide specialized instruction in core academic areas... Your responsibilities will also include administering and interpreting virtual assessments and collaborating with general education teachers to ensure students receive the necessary accommodations and modifications.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement engaging and effective online teaching strategies tailored to students with learning disabilities.
• Develop and oversee digital IEPs and personalized learning plans to meet each student's unique needs.
• Deliver specialized instruction in core academic subjects, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
• Administer and interpret virtual assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Work closely with general education teachers to coordinate accommodations and modifications for students.
• Maintain regular and open communication with students and their families to support their educational journey.
• Actively participate in professional learning communities and virtual staff meetings to collaborate and grow professionally.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching license with an endorsement in learning disabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in special education.
• Proficiency in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction effectively in an online environment.
• Patience, dedication, and a commitment to student success.
