Job Title: Full-Time Virtual DHH Teacher
School Year: 20252026
Location: Remote | Serving a School District in California
Organization: VocoVision
VocoVision is currently looking for a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide remote instruction to PreK12 students across a California county school district for the 20252026 school year.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide virtual DHH services to students at various school sites (itinerant model)
ā¢ Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to support student learning
ā¢ Customize instruction based on individual student needs and IEPs
Qualifications:
ā¢ Active California teaching credential (CTC) with appropriate DHH certification
ā¢ Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related discipline
ā¢ Previous experience with virtual teaching is preferred
ā¢ Liability insurance is required for all 1099 contractor roles
Position Summary:
ā¢ Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
ā¢ Hours: Full-time, 30+ hours per week
ā¢ Schedule: MondayFriday
ā¢ Start: Fall 2025
