Responsibilities: Lead engagements with RSM client companies and serve as their primary point of contact for both management and staff Participate in the initial HR Assessment of a new client company and help build and organize the client’s HR program Handle onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, COBRA, leaves of absence, employment status changes and other day-to-day recordkeeping and compliance related matters Provide guidance to managers on how to handle performance problems, disciplinary matters, compliance concerns, or other workplace issues Build rapport with client companies and their employees through responsive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable delivery of services Maintain meticulous records and assist with data compilation and reporting of employee information internally and externally Participate in the development of proposals and business development activities. Develop new market relevant tools, methodologies, products and deliverables for the rapidly changing environment in Human Resources Required Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 5+ years of experience in Human Resources Understanding of the HR function and best practices related to processes, technology utilization , and policy creation Ability to travel up to 10% Excellent written and verbal communication skills Eagerness to learn and ability to stay current with HR trends and key workplace issues Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Organizational Development, HRIS, Management, or Finance Experience in a professional services firm, CPA firm, PEO, ASO, or HR Consulting firm Functional understanding of HRIS systems Experience serving clients across multiple industries and consulting on Human Resources Deep understanding of the contemporary trends impacting human resources and the future of work At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Compensation Range: $82,500 - $132,000 Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
