Databricks Developer​/Data Engineer US Remote

Position: Databricks Developer/Data Engineer - (US Remote) Overview Location: REMOTE / Orlando, Florida This job allows you to work remotely. This contract (US-based Corp to Corp) The position is to help augment the development staff to achieve the delivery of new solutions and enhancements. Responsibilities include understanding system requirements, coding, providing code fixes, and supporting across multiple releases. Will also need to provide 24/7 support of the digital solutions and participate in an on-call rotation with the team. Project Digital product data (IDM) Work Description and Responsibilities Primary project goals : New Development, Enhancements/Upgrades, Temporary Maintenance, or other type of development? • New Development Development allocation (Total time must equal 100%): • Azure Development - (50%) • Middle Tier – Logic Layer (25%) • Back End – Data Layer (25%) Contract Terms • Initial 6-month contract to start (Approx: 1040 standard hours) • Working hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm (EST). The contractor must work the EST time zone. Important – Please Read Before Applying • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required. Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. • U.S. residency required. Applicants must currently reside within the United States for the duration of this engagement. • No subcontracting or candidate re-assignment permitted. Must Have Skills Skills Required: • 5+ years of Azure development experience • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Code Development • 3+ years of experience working as a Databricks developer with knowledge and expertise of data structures and storage • 4+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL code • 4+ years of experience with CI/CD utilizing Azure Dev Ops • Experience with Python scripting and Parquet storage formats • Azure certifications would be a plus • 5+ years of experience in a Lead Developer position is preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience, is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job
