Who Are We Looking For:

As a DBA, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining an organization's databases. You will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the organization's databases. The role includes planning, development, and troubleshooting to ensure data remains consistent, secure and accessible. Requirements entail deep expertise as a Database Administrator, excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security and SQL.

What Will You Work On:
• Maintain database systems of high availability and quality.
• Install, configure and upgrade database servers and related applications.
• Design and implement databases according to end users' needs.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
• Implement security measures and frameworks to protect data.
• Monitor and maintain database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency.
• Perform regular tests and evaluations to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage database storage, user permissions and system backups.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to database operations, connectivity, and performance.
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters for fast query responses.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support for users.
• Maintain documentation related to database configurations, policies, procedures, and best practices.

What You Bring:

15+ years' experience as a Database Administrator Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in programming languages (SQL server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.), integration tools, and data modeling Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security and SQL Strong understanding of database structure, theories, principles, and practices Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
