We are seeking a software engineer to assist with expanding existing SQL Server data load processes built in SSIS for our Retail Credit Risk Management group.
location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

salary: $61.63 - 66.63 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: Bachelors
responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize ETL systems for our Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse using SSIS and other database objects (e.g., stored procedures, views, tables)
- Collaborate with risk managers to evaluate and integrate new data sources
- Perform query performance tuning to optimize both data loads and end-user queries
- Communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders, including using data flow diagrams
qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering or data management roles
- Strong emphasis on SQL Server environments
skills:
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, ADF, SQL MI)
- Skills in requirements gathering
- Experience with technical documentation
