Data Scientist – ML & Model Support

You’ll work closely with customers to troubleshoot issues, investigate unexpected behavior in deployed models, and continuously improve how our ML/AI systems perform in real-world settings.If you enjoy dissecting datasets to identify issues, communicating your insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and driving customer problem resolution from start to finish, this could be the right place for you.
The candidate is required to be based out of Pune. Responsibility

Data-Driven Problem Solving: Investigate complex and often disorganized datasets to diagnose the underlying causes of issues such as model degradation, unexpected patterns, and data quality problems.

Extensive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Dedicate a significant portion of your time to in-depth data analysis, including identifying patterns, validating assumptions, and providing data-backed answers to crucial business inquiries (model development is a secondary focus).

Data Science Support: Serve as the primary technical contact for issues in Data Science, ensuring rapid responses, clear communication, and end-to-end ownership of problem resolution. Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and validation checks that help catch issues before customers do. Continuously work to make solutions more robust and easier to support.

Model Support and Optimization: Fine-tune hyperparameters, retrain models, or implement minor algorithmic adjustments based on analytical insights.

Effective and Empathetic Communication: Articulate technical findings clearly and understandably to both customers and internal stakeholders, fostering trust through transparency and responsiveness.

Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with support, product, engineering and partner teams to implement comprehensive solutions, enhance processes, and ensure a positive customer experience. About You
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field preferred. Equivalent practical experience and demonstrated skills will also be considered
2+ years of experience in data science or data analysis
Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct rigorous data analysis and communicate findings clearly
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and directly with customers to solve business problems
Experience with data visualization tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
