Experienced Data Scientist (AI Research Collaboration | $100/hr | Remote – US Applicants Only) We are calling applicants on behalf of a leading AI company for a high-impact project that’s shaping the next generation of data reasoning models. This is a selective opportunity for top-tier Data Scientists who combine deep technical expertise with advanced analytical reasoning. You’ll create and refine analytical datasets that train AI systems to interpret data like the best human analysts. Role Overview As a senior contributor, you’ll design multi-step reasoning questions, validate SQL/Python queries, and produce gold-standard datasets that guide how AI understands and reasons through complex data. You’ll join a network of experts working on projects that define the future of intelligent data interpretation. Preferred Qualifications (Required for consideration) • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field • 8+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or AI-based data work • Expert-level proficiency in Python, pandas, and SQL (DuckDB experience preferred) • Strong understanding of statistical reasoning, data modeling, and exploratory analysis • Proven ability to write and explain complex analytical logic clearly • Experience contributing to AI labs, research projects, or data intelligence systems • Track record of publishing, teaching, or leading data-driven research is a plus Key Responsibilities • Design complex reasoning-based data analysis problems • Write and validate SQL and Python-based solutions • Create structured JSON outputs (question, query, answer, reasoning) • Deliver human-readable reasoning explanations for AI model improvement • Collaborate asynchronously with peer reviewers and research leads Contract Details • Rate: $100 USD/hour • Type: Independent contractor (daily payouts via Stripe Connect) • Duration: ~2 months, with possible extension • Commitment: ~15 hours/week, fully remote and asynchronous • Why Apply This is a selective, fast-moving role under active review.
