Data Privacy Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Consultant to support and advise our client. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with privacy regulations while supporting the development of a new, data-driven product line. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in the service industry.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the product team to implement privacy-by-design principles throughout the development lifecycle.
• Assess and ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations and requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for privacy-related matters, providing expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough analyses of client data to identify potential privacy risks and recommend actionable solutions.
• Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and documentation to support organizational compliance.
• Monitor emerging privacy trends and regulations to proactively address potential impacts on the organization.
• Offer insights and recommendations to enhance data protection strategies and safeguard sensitive information.
Qualifications:
• Strong expertise in data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience in implementing privacy-by-design principles within product development.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data privacy requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively advise and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with data protection tools and methodologies.
• Experience in drafting and maintaining privacy policies and documentation.
• Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to data privacy.
Compensation
$60.00-$72.00 Hourly
