Role: Data Modeler/Architect Location: New Jersey - Remote Type: Contract This is a remote opportunity, however one monthly visit is required to the offices in New Jersey, as well as working under EST. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Creation, optimization and maintenance of conceptual, logical and physical database models 2. Documentation of functional requirements and system specifications into the data architecture and detailed design specifications for current and proposed designs 3. Demonstrate proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options, and where appropriate, leading to resolution 4. Maintaining highly effective and consistent communication within the team, peers, and the leadership team. 5. Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server 2014, 2016 and Azure SQL Database QUALIFICATIONS 1. 3+ years demonstratable work experience as a Data Architect using data modeling tools such as Erwin, Toad or ER/Studio 2. 5 years' experience in a data analysis or data management role 3. Experience designing data warehousing solutions 4. Erwin Data Modeling experience 5. Accounting and/or Tax knowledge 6. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Azure Sql, Azure Data Flow 7. Strong working experience designing ETL solutions (Azure Data Factory & SSIS) 8.
