Data Governance Consultant

They are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to support the implementation of data governance frameworks and assist in ensuring data quality and compliance across systems. Responsibilities Support the implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards Assist in defining and documenting data definitions, metadata, and data lineage Perform data quality assessments, profiling, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather data requirements and define governance rules Assist in maintaining data catalogs and business glossaries Support data reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution processes Contribute to regulatory and compliance initiatives related to data (e.g., privacy, security, financial reporting) Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate data integrity across systems Develop dashboards and reports to monitor data quality and governance metrics Document processes, controls, and governance workflows for audit and transparency purposes Skills Bachelor's degree in Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects) in data analysis, governance, consulting, or finance Strong understanding of data structures, data lifecycle, and data management concepts Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders Programming/Data Querying: Python, SQL (required) Data Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Excel Data Management: Experience with data cleansing, validation, and database concepts Tools: Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Visio Platforms: Exposure to AWS environments and data storage systems Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to document processes clearly and thoroughly Strong organizational and time management skills Collaborative mindset with experience working across departments High level of accountability and attention to detail Exposure to data governance concepts such as data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship Experience working with financial or operational data Internship or project experience involving compliance, reporting, or data controls Familiarity with regulatory frameworks or enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) Benefits Comprehensive healthcare package (medical, dental, vision) Disability and group term life insurance Health and flexible spending accounts Utilization bonus 401(k) with match Flexible time off for salaried employees Parental leave for salaried employees Flexible work arrangements (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) Company Overview Founded in tandem with Turnberry Solutions, Crew serves as an innovative talent development program for both Turnberry and our clients by focusing exclusively on high-performing early-career consultants.
