Data Governance and Quality SAP Data Analyst-SAP ECC, S/4HANA

Job Summary: The Data Governance and Quality SAP Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across SAP systems. This position focuses on data profiling, quality management, and governance to support data migration and readiness for S/4HANA. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data standards and enhance overall system performance. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive data profiling to assess and improve data quality, consistency, and completeness across SAP environments • Develop and implement data quality rules, perform validation checks, and recommend corrective actions for identified issues • Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold data governance standards and best practices • Support data migration and integration efforts, ensuring clean, structured, and accurate data readiness for S/4HANA transition • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators related to data quality and system performance • Work closely with SAP functional teams (MM, SD, FICO, etc.) to identify and resolve data-related issues • Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on enhancing data accuracy, governance, and overall system efficiency • Document data profiling methodologies, data quality rules, and related procedures; assist in preparing training materials for data management processes Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience • Minimum of 6–9 years of experience in SAP data management, with emphasis on data profiling and quality management • Strong knowledge of SAP environments such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BW • Hands-on experience with data profiling tools such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, or similar platforms • Familiarity with data integration, migration, and transformation processes within SAP systems • Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail • Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments • Certification in SAP Data Management or related areas • Experience with scripting or automation tools to enhance data processes • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
