Job Summary As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory operations. Working on the overnight shift, you will be responsible for entering patient, client, billing, and test information into our Laboratory Information System, following HIPAA regulations and compliance standards, and providing exceptional customer service by answering and directing incoming client calls. Key Responsibilities: Enter patient, client, billing, and test information into the Laboratory Information System with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and laboratory compliance standards. Answer and direct incoming client calls in a professional and courteous manner. Cross-train in accessioning, which involves accurately identifying, sorting, and labeling specimens for testing. Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of data entry tasks. Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while ensuring accuracy and quality. Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent computer skills, with the ability to type 8,000 keystrokes/hour. A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of data entry tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting.
