About the Role As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for collecting, entering, and maintaining data in our corporate databases, as well as performing various administrative tasks to support our operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our data is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available for business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed, using source documents to input customer and account information into our databases. Organize and prioritize data to prepare it for computer entry, ensuring that it's in the correct format and meets our quality standards. Conduct research to gather additional information as needed, and review data for errors or discrepancies. Use data management software and techniques to optimize data entry activities, and implement corrective actions to address any data inconsistencies. Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security. Perform scanning and printing of documents, and respond to queries for information, accessing relevant files as needed. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of corporate information, adhering to blithequark's data security policies. Oversee the proper usage of office equipment, reporting any issues or problems to the relevant teams. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll need: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Data Entry or Office Clerk role, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Solid experience with administrative duties, including office equipment usage and data management software. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data management tools and techniques. Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation, with a keen eye for detail. High typing speed and accuracy, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A high school diploma or equivalent, with additional computer training or certification a plus. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a bonus: Experience with data management software and tools, such as data visualization platforms or database management systems.
