What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
 Organize and input patient demographic information, schedules, and charges into the appropriate system
 Monitor and correct errors in the practice management system
 Verify the accuracy and completeness of demographic information and charges
 Reconcile charges received to patient logs
 Communicate with facilities and clinics to obtain necessary information
What Is Required (Qualifications)
 High school diploma or GED
 Minimum of 3 years' experience with insurance billing requirements and account follow-up procedures
 General understanding of ICD9 and CPT coding
 Proficient in practice management systems and general computer applications
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
 Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing processes
 Previous experience in a similar healthcare administrative role
 Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
