As a Data Entry Credentialling Specialist, you'll enjoy the following benefits: * **Flexible Remote Work**: Enjoy the convenience of working from home while contributing to a mission-driven company. * **Growth & Development**: Gain valuable experience in the healthcare credentialing industry with training and professional development opportunities. * **Supportive Team Culture**: Work alongside a collaborative and dedicated team that values efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Data Entry Credentialling Specialist, your specific duties will include: * **Entering and updating provider credentialing information in the system with accuracy**: Ensure that provider information is up-to-date and accurate, and that all necessary documentation is complete and compliant. * **Verifying licensure, certifications, education, and work history for healthcare providers**: Verify the credentials of healthcare providers to ensure that they meet the necessary requirements for practice. * **Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations**: Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and ensure that all credentialing processes are compliant. * **Tracking credentialing and re-credentialing deadlines, ensuring timely submission of documents**: Manage deadlines and ensure that all necessary documents are submitted on time. * **Communicating with providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain required documentation**: Communicate with stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation and ensure that all credentialing processes are complete. * **Assisting in audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity**: Participate in audits and quality checks to ensure that all credentialing data is accurate and complete. * **Generating reports related to credentialing status and compliance**: Generate reports to track credentialing status and compliance. * **Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive provider information**: Ensure that all sensitive provider information is kept confidential and secure. **Essential Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * **High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred**: A degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or credentialing, is preferred. * **1-2 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or data entry preferred**: Experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or data entry is preferred. * **Familiarity with credentialing databases and healthcare compliance standards**: Familiarity with credentialing databases and healthcare compliance standards is required. * **Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy**: Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy are required. * **Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. * **Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills**: Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills are required. * **Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external agencies**: Strong communication skills are required for interacting with internal teams and external agencies. **Preferred Qualifications:** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * **Certification in credentialing or a related field**: Certification in credentialing or a related field is preferred. * **Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare software**: Experience with EHRs or other healthcare software is preferred. **Compensation and Benefits:** As a Data Entry Credentialling Specialist at blithequark, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $22.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on your qualifications, skills, and experience.
