Data Engineer - Snowflake
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines, models, and platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven applications.
This role requires strong technical expertise in modern cloud data platforms—particularly Snowflake—as well as leadership experience to guide teams and influence data architecture decisions across the organization.
The ideal canddiate should be able to Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data driven applications.
Location: Any State of Mexico
Required Qualifications
5+ years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions
2+ years managing a team in a data engineering capacity
Must have 2+ years Snowflake architectural experience
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell)
Tools: Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, or similar ELT/ETL tools
Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion ( or similar ELT/ETL tools) ).
Architecting new patterns within Snowflake, defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake
Cloud Migration: Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions.
Data Governance & Quality: Ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs.
