About the Role: Data Specialist - Information Analytics
As a Data Specialist - Information Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and operationalizing data pipelines that power our analytics and data services. This is a unique chance to work with diverse data sources, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and operationalize data pipelines to make data accessible for utilization (BI, Advanced Analytics, Services).
Collaborate with data modelers and data/BI architects to design data pipelines and suggest continuous improvement of data storage, ingestion, quality, and governance.
Develop, test, and implement ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS).
Leverage Azure services such as Azure SQL DW, ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Data Factory to enhance and accelerate the delivery of our data products and services.
Implement big data and NoSQL solutions by developing scalable data processing platforms to drive high-value insights for the organization.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes and enhancing data delivery.
Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management.
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences both written and verbal.
Perform peer reviews for other data architects' work.
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
2+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS.
2+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies such as ADLS, Azure Databricks, Spark, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, and other big data technologies.
2+ years of experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing.
2+ years of hands-on experience implementing data integration techniques like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL.
A strong understanding of database capacity concepts: Data Lake, Relational Databases, NoSQL, Graph, Data Warehousing.
The ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:
Microsoft Azure or equivalent certifications.
Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development methodologies.
Familiarity with the retail industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with SAP integration tools including BODS.
Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler.
