About the Role
As a Data Engineer on the PDS team, you'll focus on building and maintaining robust data pipelines, owning and providing access to large data tables, and driving innovation on high-scale services. You'll work closely with business, engineering, and data science teams to enable a culture of learning and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Proficient in Java or Scala and comfortable working with SQL
Strong background in distributed data processing, software engineering, or distributed systems with a focus on data-oriented services
Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark or Flink and experience working with web-scale datasets
Experience managing PB+ data tables and pipelines at web scale in production environments
Extensive experience with data modeling
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
