Design and develop data platforms to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Maintain and optimize existing data platforms to ensure efficient and accurate data processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions that meet business requirements. Identify and implement best practices for data storage, processing, and management. Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations between various systems. Utilize various tools and technologies to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data platforms. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. Monitor and troubleshoot data platforms to identify and resolve any issues. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering and recommend relevant technologies and techniques to enhance data processes. Communicate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide data solutions that meet their requirements. Train and mentor junior team members on data engineering best practices and technologies. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures. Collaborate with other data engineers and data scientists to develop innovative solutions and drive a data-driven culture. Continuously improve and optimize data processes to increase efficiency and scalability. Proactively identify and address any potential data-related risks and issues.
