Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and analysis
Refresh data from multiple sources, process batch data, and match its format to stored data
Ensure data is properly processed and analyzed, and provide L3 support for data-related issues
Implement parsers, validators, transformers, and correlators to reformat, update, and upgrade data
Provide guidance to less senior team members and recommendations for complex issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
Develop and maintain scalable data architectures, ensuring data quality and integrity
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data solutions to meet those needs
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Technical background in software engineering, programming, database systems, and distributed systems
Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data pipelines, ETL, and data warehousing
Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Scala, and SQL
Experience with data processing frameworks, such as Apache Kafka and Apache Spark
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience with DevOps tools, such as Terraform, YAML, and JSON
