Data Engineer

They are seeking a Data Engineer to develop scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and platforms, while gaining hands-on experience in data engineering best practices.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and AirflowDevelop serverless workflows leveraging AWS Lambda for scalable event-driven data processingImplement and optimize dbt models for analytics and transformationsDesign schemas and manage data in DynamoDB and other cloud-native storage solutionsEnsure high availability, scalability, and performance of data systemsIntegrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sourcesBuild workflow orchestration strategies using Airflow for scheduling and monitoring pipelinesAutomate infrastructure deployment and CI/CD pipelines for data servicesImplement data validation, testing, and monitoring frameworksEnsure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standardsSkills1–3 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related roleProficiency in Python for data engineering and automationFamiliarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestrationBasic understanding of AWS Lambda and serverless design patternsExposure to DynamoDB (schema design and performance considerations)Knowledge of dbt for data transformation and analytics modelingExperience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)Understanding of CI/CD workflows, Git, and DevOps practicesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience with other AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis)Familiarity with data warehouse and data lake architecturesExposure to real-time streaming and event-driven data pipelinesKnowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)BenefitsHealth/vision/dental insurance401(k)Stock optionsHealthcare & Dependent Flexible Spending AccountsVacationSickPersonal daysPositive activism daysPaid parental leaveDisability benefitsCompany OverviewRAPP is a customer experience agency.
