Join us in shaping the next frontier of autonomous security.Your Role: Data EngineerIn this role this person will be building and maintaining the core data infrastructure that powers analytics across the company, designing pipelines and data models that pull from product systems, observability tooling, and external sources into a reliable, scalable data platform. You’ll work closely with SRE, product, and engineering teams to ensure data is correctly captured, structured, and aligned across services, while also maintaining observability stacks to support debugging and system reliability. In parallel, they’ll define and enforce data quality standards, support KPI development, and ensure all pipelines and data flows meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements, acting as the backbone that enables accurate analysis and decision-making across the business.What You’ll DoDesign, deploy, and maintain data pipelines, including a data lake, data shaping pipeline, and analysis tooling.Maintain engineering-level observability stacks.Own data quality across the product and its observability stack.Own the detailed definitions of KPIs that allow us to measure product development and quality.Collaborate with the Site Reliability Engineering team where observability intersects with product reliability or debuggability.Work with the Product Management teams to collaborate on gathering and analysis of product metrics and user-behavioral analytics.Support the development teams in their use of observability pipelines, and ensure that the data semantics are aligned between teams and product components.Ensure that data-gathering meets the privacy, security, and compliance needs of our customers.Ensure that we comply with regulations governing data security and user privacy, such as GDPR and CCPA.Who You AreEssential:SQL RDMSs such as PostgreSQL.Experience with large-scale analytics engines such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.Experience with observability solutions such as Datadog or NewRelic.Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.Experience with Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.Experience with public cloud deployment, including Kubernetes.Understanding of GDPR and similar regulations worldwide.Bonus If You HaveExperience with the Microsoft Fabric platform.Understanding of data pipeline design, workflow orchestration, and tools such as Apache Airflow or Dagster.What We Offer:Compensation & Equity: Competitive salary, clear performance-based incentives, and equity package, making you an integral part of XBOW’s growth story.Career Growth: Significant opportunities to progress within the sales organization and shape your career trajectory as we scale.Meaningful Work: You’ll directly impact XBOW’s mission to revolutionize cybersecurity and protect organizations worldwide.What Else You Should KnowLocation: GlobalContract: Full-timeHiring Process:Introduction with TalentHiring Manager InterviewTechnical InterviewFinal InterviewAt XBOW, we leverage AI every day, it's embedded in our product and our sales approach.
