Your passion for data and commitment to technical excellence will enable you to develop elegant, reliable solutions to complex data challenges, helping shape the foundation of our modern data stack.As a core member of the data team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, timely, and actionable. You’ll demonstrate self-leadership and contribute to a culture of growth and continuous improvement by mentoring peers and helping define best practices. This role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across analytics, product, and engineering — all while growing your technical skillset and influencing how data drives innovation at Kandji. How You Will Make a Difference Day to Day: Collaborate with team members to design and build reliable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and operational needs across the business.Contribute to the modeling and transformation of data in our warehouse, ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability.Support the development and maintenance of data ingestion workflows from internal and external sources, with a focus on scalability and data quality.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold engineering standards and ensure long-term maintainability of data systems.Work with stakeholders in product, engineering, and analytics to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.Help monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure availability and integrity, contributing to a reliable and trustworthy data platform.Share knowledge and best practices with peers to foster a culture of collaboration, technical growth, and continuous improvement. We’d love to hear from you if you have: 5+ years of data engineering, analytics engineering, or software development experience3+ years of strong data engineering design/development experience in building large-scale distributed data platforms/productsProficient in Python, SQLExperience with dbt and data modelingExperience building scalable, efficient data pipelines using Snowflake and other cloud-based data technologiesExperience designing and implementing data ingestion platforms, interacting with multiple third-party data sources, and assembling them into actionable structuresFamiliarity with Apache Kafka, or KinesisFamiliar with workflow management systems (Airflow, Argo Workflows, etc)Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and peersRequired to work on-site 5x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables).
