Join arenaflex's World-Class Technical Infrastructure Team

Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? At arenaflex, we don't just build technology—we engineer the future. Our Technical Infrastructure team is the backbone behind the powerful search technology and cloud services that billions of people around the world rely on every single day. We're looking for a talented and motivated Data Center Technician & Networking Operations Specialist to join our Hardware Operations team and help us maintain and advance the cutting-edge infrastructure that keeps the digital world running smoothly.

If you're passionate about hardware, fascinated by networking, and thrive in a dynamic technical environment, this is your opportunity to make an impact on a global scale. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $20-30 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and the flexibility to work in a hybrid model with remote opportunities available.

About arenaflex and Technical Infrastructure

arenaflex is far more than a software company. Our Hardware Operations group is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the state-of-the-art physical infrastructure that powers all of arenaflex's products and services. From our massive data centers to our next-generation computing platforms, we are the engineers' engineers—passionate about voiding warranties by taking things apart to understand how they work, then rebuilding them better than before.

Behind everything our customers see online lies the architecture built by our Technical Infrastructure group. We develop and maintain our data centers, build the next generation of platforms, and ensure our networks operate at peak performance. We're proud to be the team that keeps everything running smoothly, providing the best and fastest experience possible for users worldwide.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Data Center Technician and Networking Operations Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our physical and software infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

Hardware Deployment & Installation: Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware components including servers, storage systems, and their various components. You'll work with the latest in server technology and data center equipment.
Linux Server Management: Configure and manage server software, including Google's Linux cluster environments. You'll handle Linux OS-related troubleshooting and ensure optimal server performance.
Network Configuration: Take ownership of configuring complex networking components including routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and various networking protocols. You'll ensure seamless connectivity across our infrastructure.
Infrastructure Maintenance: Contribute to and lead efforts in the deployment, maintenance, and support of both new and existing data center infrastructure. Participate in or lead small project teams on large installations.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: Participate in or lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve critical or escalated technical issues. You'll be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software problems and implementing effective solutions.
Hardware Testing: Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs, ensuring they meet arenaflex's rigorous standards before deployment.
Project Leadership: Lead small mission teams on major installations and develop project contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Physical Infrastructure Work: Engage in manual movement and setup of racks and physical infrastructure components. While this can be physically demanding, you'll be working with technology at the forefront of the industry.
