In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of data analytics engineers, driving data-driven decision-making processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of data analytics projects. The ideal candidate will possess both hands-on technical expertise in data analytics tools and prior experience managing a team of skilled professionals. Responsibilities: • Team Management: • Lead and manage a team of data analytics engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and project success. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and allocate resources effectively. • Set clear goals and performance expectations for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and feedback sessions. • Data Analytics Project Management: • Oversee the end-to-end execution of data analytics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion. • Technical Expertise: • Possess hands-on expertise in SQL, PowerBI are essential to provide technical guidance and support to the team. • Evaluate and implement best practices in data analytics, data visualization, and data engineering techniques. • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data analytics to drive innovation within the team. • Data Governance and Security: • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and data security measures to safeguard sensitive information. • Develop and maintain data quality standards to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights generated from data analytics projects. • Stakeholder Communication: • Communicate complex technical concepts and data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. • Proven experience (7 years) in RDBMS and data analytics experience along with (3+ years) directly managing data analytics professionals. • Strong proficiency in SQL, PowerBI and (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow,or Keboola) for data querying, analysis, and visualization. • Experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes. • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
