About the Role

As a Data Analyst - Supply Chain at Home Depot, you'll play a critical role in driving business success by leveraging your analytical skills to turn complex data into actionable insights. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to apply advanced analytical techniques to diverse datasets, identify trends, and solve real-world business problems. Key Responsibilities


Execute Existing Reporting and Analytical Obligations (30%): You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality reports and analyses on time, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and equipped to make data-driven decisions.
Create New Dashboards and Reports (20%): Using data analysis tools, you'll develop new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Ensure Quality of Work Output (20%): You'll maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all work products are accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time.
Develop Technical Capabilities and Subject Matter Expertise (20%): You'll continuously update your technical skills and expand your knowledge of supply chain operations, staying ahead of the curve in data analysis and interpretation.
Present Findings Effectively (10%): You'll communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling way, focusing on how analysis fits into our broader business strategy.


Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience in data mining, statistical analysis, forecasting, or modeling, preferably in a supply chain or related field.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or similar database systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex insights into actionable recommendations.


Preferred qualifications include:


Direct experience analyzing supply chain data, with a deep understanding of supply chain operations and dynamics.
Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools.
A proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
