What we are looking for
Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to support our federal customer
Location : Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.
The successful candidate will be accountable to
Ā Data analysis and reporting using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, and Power BI) and other business and business intelligence tools
Ā Working with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements
Ā Participating in client data calls, working with clients to determine reporting requirements, and writing technical documentation
Ā Verifying data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
Ā Gathering requirements for reporting purposes
Ā Documentation of processes and methodologies
Ā Planning, prioritizing and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
Ā Make recommendations for data products and gathering techniques that align with customer's business and analysis goals
Ā Accomplishes department objectives by communicating job expectations and priorities, providing professional growth opportunities, and evaluating results
What you bring
Experience, Education & Training
Ā 8+ years of proven experience in data analysis
Ā 5+ years of experience managing data projects and teams
Ā 8+ years of experience with Power BI is required
Ā 3+ years of experience creating data flows and semantic models
Ā Strong background working with Microsoft Excel
Ā Experience in SQL query development and general database principles
Ā Strong written and verbal communication on complex subject matters
Ā Able to rapidly respond to changing requirements and priorities
Ā Able to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams
Ā Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
Ā Ability to effectively manage ambiguity, anticipate problems, and take decisive action
Ā Preferred experience with Department of Defense (Army Corps of Engineers)
Clearance Requirements
Ā Active Secret Clearance Required
Ā Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation
