Data Analyst - EST Hours
ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa - we are a global BPO company, partnering with a US-based client, who is urgently seeking Data Analyst with Python Development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing data pipelines, and creating insightful visualizations to drive business decisions. This role requires expertise in Python programming, data manipulation, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. PLEASE NOTE: Working Hours: This role requires you to work USA hours Mon - Fri from 9am to 6pm EST (15h00 to 24h00 South African time - subject to change dependant on daylight savings) Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role. Internet (fibre): Candidates must possess a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for both upload and download, capable of supporting a wired Ethernet connection Power backup: Candidates must have power backup solution (UPS, Solar) to manage loadshedding or power outages. Key Responsibilities/Skillset Required: Data Analysis & Insights : Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data needs. Exposure to machine learning predictive modelling would be advantageous Python Development : Write modular, efficient, and scalable code for data manipulation and transformation using Python. Automate repetitive data processing tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy using Python Scripts Data Visualization : Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI. Experience in utilizing Python libraries such as Matplotlib/Seaborn and Streamlit. Present data findings in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders at various levels. Exposure to SQL and database management using Python (SQLAlchemy/MongoDB etc). Requirements Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn. Strong SQL skills for querying and managing relational databases. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly). Experience with Azure cloud platform is advantageous.
