Data Analyst

They are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify trends and communicate findings to stakeholders. Responsibilities Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases Perform data analysis, cleanup, validation, and verification to ensure data accuracy and integrity Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and present actionable insights Document data processes, definitions, and methodologies to maintain data governance standards Support ad-hoc data requests and analyses as needed Skills Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience writing complex queries for data extraction and analysis Demonstrated experience working with relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server Proven experience in data analysis, data cleanup, data validation, and data verification processes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data manipulation functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences Proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, or similar platforms Familiarity with data warehousing concepts Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as SSIS Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Company Overview Fire Rover is a company that provides a portable fire prevention system.
