Employment may be extended based on business needs and performance but is not guaranteed.We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine business and technical expertise to support a cloud data warehouse migration, partnering with cross-functional teams to analyze data, define requirements, and deliver scalable data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesTo perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Analyze source systems and data warehouse structures to support transformation into new data products, including performing gap analysis and identifying data requirementsWrite and execute SQL queries to explore, validate, and interpret data across systems with limited documentationTranslate complex data logic into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including identifying edge cases and validating business rulesSupport ETL processes and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs and are feasiblePerform data validation, testing, and root cause analysis to ensure data quality and resolve issuesContribute to proof-of-concepts, test case development, and scalable validation approaches for complex datasetsPartner with cross-functional teams to prioritize work, present findings, and support data storytelling through reports, visualizations, and diagramsDocument data mappings, definitions, and standard processes to support ongoing development and maintenanceSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneQualificationsEducation and Experience:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience writing SQL queries and/or stored procedures, with the ability to work independently on data exploration3+ years of experience performing data analysis within a data warehouse environment (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake)Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure SQL) preferredExperience querying and analyzing semi-structured or non-relational data (e.g., JSON) preferredFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesHealthcare industry experience a plusWork Environment:Remote work from home.Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.Physical Demands:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.The person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers.
