Data Analyst
About the position
The Data Analyst will play a significant role in supporting the delivery of our growth strategy, supporting our customer-facing and operational teams with insight & data to help us make business decisions. This role will involve hands-on engagement with our business data & commercial agenda. The role will have responsibility for creating & maintaining reports & dashboards, providing analysis & working closely with our commercial teams to help us achieve business objectives. Responsibilities
Β Develop & maintain reports to help our stakeholders manage & grow our business

Β Work on ad hoc data requests from our business teams
,
Β Analyze business performance and provide reporting on the results of business activities and identify learnings & recommendations
Requirements
Β Either college-level qualifications in a related field or 2+ yearsΒ experience in a commercially-focused analytical role
,
Β Evidence of ability to build highly effective working relationships
,
Β Draw on data to present recommendations in a compelling way
,
Β Advocate for new ideas and changes when needed
,
Β Excel & Power BI skills
,
Β Query/scripting languages, e.g. SQL, M, R, Python are a plus, but not essential
,
Β Web analytics (Google Analytics or similar) skills are a plus, but not essential
,
Β Highly data-driven, with excellent understanding of mathematical concepts
,
Β Good working knowledge of reporting & data management, analysis & visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Domo, Tableau
,
Β Comfortable using appropriate tools to work with large, complex data sets
,
Β Experience automating simple tasks such as data load and refresh is a plus
,
Β Good understanding of basic commercial principles
,
Β Strong written, interpersonal, communication and team working skills
,
Β Enjoys challenges & solving problems; comfortable learning and tackling new tasks
,
Β Curious & tenacious Β always looking to understand their environment or explore and test new ideas, and has a burning desire to find insights in data
