D365 BC Senior Consultant
About the position::
Velosio is looking for a Senior Consultant to be an integral member of the BC Enterprise Team. As a Senior Functional Consultant at Velosio, you will provide functional and technical consulting services for Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software projects, leads client engagements, design operational solutions, and mentors team members while ensuring successful delivery and high client satisfaction.

Your day might look like::
Lead and deliver Business Central implementations with a primary focus on Operations modules, including:InventoryPurchasingSales & DistributionWarehousingManufacturing (process or discrete)Gather, analyze, and document client business processes and requirementsDesign functional solutions and map business processes to Business CentralLead or significantly contribute to:Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)Fit/Gap analysisFunctional documentation (FRD/FDD)Training and UATServe as a trusted advisor to clients throughout implementation and post‑go‑liveSupport or lead ISV integrations, commonly including Insight Works and other operations‑centric add‑onsCollaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and other consultants to ensure project successSenior‑Level ExpectationsLead full‑cycle BC implementations or major workstreamsAct as a subject matter expert (SME) for BC OperationsHandle complex client scenarios with minimal oversightMaintain strong client‑facing communicationContribute to:Knowledge sharingMentorship of junior consultantsInternal process improvement and best practices
What you'll bring::
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related technical field or equivalent experienceDynamics BC implementations experience with 5+ years ERP implementation experience in OperationsDynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Certification (MB-800)Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint, MS Business Intelligence)Ability to translate experience in distribution or manufacturing environments to creatively solve client business/application issuesExperience with modeling business process and translating requirements into a business applicationExcellent presentation and communication skills targeted to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or board of directorsExcellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeedPossess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in-person You might also bring: Certificate in Dynamics Business CentralStrong working knowledge of Insight Works App,cations (Warehouse Insight, Dynamic Ship, Product Configurator, etc.)Project Management and/or experience with best practice implementation methodologies
