You will be responsible for designing and executing automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end automated test cases using Cypress and JavaScript / TypeScript. * Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA team members to understand requirements and design effective test strategies. * Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test scripts using tools such as Cucumber or Gherkin. * Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. * Report, track, and manage defects through issue tracking tools like JIRA. * Continuously improve test coverage and test efficiency. * Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings. Required Skills & Qualifications: * 7+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2+ years using Cypress. * Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and modern testing frameworks. * Experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, or SpecFlow. * Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. * Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman. * Experience with version control systems like Git. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in testing responsive web applications. * Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus. * Exposure to containerisation tools like Docker is an added advantage.
