What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Analyze trends and patterns in large data sets to establish threat trends across various sectors
• Investigate phishing emails and conduct malware analysis, including basic static and dynamic analysis
• Communicate threat knowledge effectively in a customer-facing environment
• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the employer's email platform efficiently
• Assist various departments with threat intelligence and contribute to external-facing content for the employer’s Threat Labs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1 year of experience
• Proficiency with indicators of compromise (IOCs), reverse engineering, and threat campaign tracking
• Experience in analyzing malicious URLs and phishing emails
• Familiarity with Python automation preferred
• Experience in customer-facing environments and triaging complex customer queries
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Experience with databases (SQL or MQL) is preferable
• Passion for cybersecurity and solving complex problems
• Genuine interest in mitigating phishing attacks and understanding recent vulnerabilities
