Cybersecurity Splunk Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Analyst
This position is responsible for conducting analysis on cybersecurity data to analyze the customer’s risk posture through compliance with applicable policies and procedures. The analyst is responsible for conducting analysis on data for improving and optimizing the customer’s cybersecurity efforts. This will be done using Splunk. The ideal candidate will be a Splunk power user as a majority of the work will be inputting findings into Splunk. It will assess compliance with selected controls and produce visualizations that demonstrate adherence to the controls across the customer’s sites. This position will be responsible for developing and reporting on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of GRC initiatives and the effectiveness of the overall cybersecurity program. The minimum qualifications are as follows: 1. At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity risk management and 1 year of experience in compliance analysis. 2. Extensive understanding of applicable governing instructions including NIST 800-53 Security & Privacy Controls for Information Systems, the NIST Risk Management Framework and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. 3. Good communication and customer relationship skills. 4.
