Cyber Security & IT Specialist

Mars Men is a rapidly scaling health and wellness company operating across ecommerce, marketplaces, and digital media. As we grow, strengthening our internal security infrastructure is a key priority. We are looking for a Security & IT Consultant to review our current systems and implement the protocols and policies needed to ensure strong data security across the organization. This role will focus on system access, security standards, and internal IT practices for a distributed remote team. This role will begin as a part time consulting engagement with the potential to transition into a full time position as the company scales. What You'll Do • Review current systems and identify security risks or gaps • Implement company wide security protocols across core tools • Establish access management policies across platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, and Shopify • Implement standards such as multi factor authentication, password policies, and device security requirements • Design structured onboarding and offboarding processes for system access • Document internal security policies and IT practices • Provide guidance on secure implementation of new tools and systems Must Have Requirements • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or security roles • Experience implementing security practices across modern SaaS environments • Strong understanding of identity and access management • Experience working with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and other cloud based systems • Ability to identify risks and implement practical security solutions • Strong organizational and documentation skills We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
