Cyber Security Internship

Cyber Security Internship at Wellmark offers hands-on experience in risk management, security operations, and threat response within a hybrid work environment. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Work in the Security Operations Center • Test, scan, monitor, and run various security tools against current infrastructure • Configure tools such as data loss protection, email security, and malware-related software • Develop code to refine or augment existing tools and load results to databases or engines • Optimize security processes • Assist the Cyberthreat Intelligence group in analyzing DarkWeb activities • Support enhancements to Cyber Kill Chain and Threat Response About You What you'll need: • Current student pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related program • Knowledge of scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and Bash • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills • Ability to adapt to changing environments and analyze risks • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis and solution generation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with business areas Training & Development • Opportunity to learn from subject matter experts and industry leaders • Networking with fellow internship participants • Gain practical, hands-on work experience within the health insurance industry How to Apply Review the qualifications and submit your application if the position matches your passion and interests.
