Cyber Security Entry-Level Position

Job Summary:

The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing Cyber Security team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates passionate about digital security, ethical hacking, and IT risk management. The successful candidate will assist in protecting the organization’s digital assets, monitoring security threats, and supporting the implementation of cybersecurity best practices across all systems. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration testing activities.
• Support IT teams in identifying and mitigating security risks across networks, applications, and endpoints.
• Help maintain compliance with industry regulations and organizational security standards.
• Generate reports on security incidents, threat trends, and system performance for management.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives to educate staff on best practices.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve security-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and cybersecurity tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for cybersecurity and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Experience:
• No prior professional experience required; internships, academic projects, or personal cybersecurity projects are highly valued.
• Any exposure to IT support, network monitoring, or security tools is an advantage.

Working Hours:
• Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday.
• Flexibility may be required for urgent security incidents or project deadlines.
• Option for remote or hybrid work arrangements depending on performance and team requirements.
