Cyber Security Engineer - REMOTE

Cyber Security Engineer- Remote-Pharmaceutical-Health Care Contract to Hire. US Citizens Only Rapid7 and CrowdStrike! We’re looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with extensive experience in threat intelligence, incident response, forensic analysis, and vulnerability management across on-prem, AWS and hybrid cloud environments. • Proficient in SIEMs, EDR, and cybersecurity frameworks, with a deep understanding of NIST 800-53, HIPAA, and industry compliance standards. • Skilled in leveraging Rapid7, CrowdStrike, and KnowBe4 to strengthen enterprise security posture. • Adept at scripting in Python and PowerShell to automate security workflows and enhance operational efficiency. • Passionate about network security, endpoint protection, and proactive threat hunting. • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Security Tools & Technologies: Rapid7, CrowdStrike, KnowBe4, • Lead vulnerability management initiatives, utilizing Rapid7 to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across the organization, significantly reducing risk exposure. • Develop and maintain incident response plans, facilitating timely responses to security incidents and minimize potential damage through forensic analysis. • Implement security measures in compliance with HIPAA and NIST 800-53, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and organizational integrity. • Implement KnowBe4's security awareness training platform across the organization, significantly increase employee engagement and reduce phishing incident rates. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance threat intelligence capabilities, utilize CrowdStrike to analyze emerging threats and inform security strategies.
