We work together to win together. Are you the Cyber Security Analyst We're Looking For? • Overview* We are seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our customers from cyber threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their technology. • Responsibilities* - Do you love learning about cyber security? Would helping small and mid-size business stay safe feel rewarding to you? - Implement and maintain security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data - Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks - Investigate security breaches and incidents, and provide incident response - Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices - Monitor security events for unusual activities and potential threats - Respond to security incidents and provide incident analysis - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into IT projects - Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies • Qualifications* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - Proven experience as an IT Security Specialist or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of system security principles and practices - Experience with some combination of MITRE, CIS, NIST - Experience with computer forensics techniques - Familiarity with IT governance frameworks such as ITIL - Understanding of Information Security standards and best practices - Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPO) for Windows environments - Experience with SIEM tools - Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel - Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently If you are a proactive individual with a passion for cybersecurity and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Cyber Security Analyst.
