Job Specific
ā¢ Stocks and maintains supplies in all service areas
ā¢ Inspects and prepares all service ware prior to use
ā¢ Clears soiled plates, service ware etc. from service areas and tables to dish wash area, sorts appropriately
ā¢ Cleans and pre-sets tables with all service ware
ā¢ Greets guests and assists Server with delivery of water and beverages
ā¢ Removes unneeded place settings from occupied tables
ā¢ Carries trays of food from kitchen to table
ā¢ May assist Server in presentation of meals for large parties and during periods of heavy volume
ā¢ Maintains cleanliness and sanitary condition of dining room and service areas
ā¢ Assists in completion of post meal clean up and side work duties
ā¢ Other duties as assigned
General
ā¢ Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
ā¢ Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
ā¢ Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow team members
ā¢ Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
ā¢ Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
ā¢ Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
ā¢ Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
ā¢ Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules
ā¢ Recycles whenever possible
ā¢ Remains current with hotel information and changes
ā¢ Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
Qualifications
ā¢ High School diploma or equivalent
ā¢ Ability to walk, stand stoop, bend, lift and carry trays weighing 35+ pounds repetitively during entire shift
ā¢ Excellent guest service skills
ā¢ Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
