Customs Brokerage Representative III - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customs Brokerage Representative III to join our team remotely. As a key member of our customs brokerage team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing customs entries, communicating with clients and government agencies, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Responsibilities:

Prepare and process customs entries, including classification according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS) and participation in government agencies clearances (PGA), Code of Regulations, and Customs regulations.
Interface with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers to forward freight to designated locations.
Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors, and resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues.
Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations and scan entries into the imaging system meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements.
Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis using various software packages and databases.
Establish and maintain client relationships, and provide excellent customer service.
Work a rotating weekend schedule on a department rotation basis and holiday schedule based on the needs of the operation and account requirements.


Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working for a Customs Broker.
Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate and rapid data entry skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Customers Broker License - Preferred.
