What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide accurate, polite, and responsive customer service support via phone, email, and web
- Develop familiarity with transportation services in Connecticut
- Monitor multiple communication channels and issue time-sensitive service alerts
- Create customized commute plans based on individual travel needs
- Communicate with transportation providers to gather and update route/schedule services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma plus two years of experience or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office or Gsuite products
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and multitasking skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Good communication skills
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Ability to use CMS and other computer programs effectively
- Knowledge of CTrides and CTrail program policies and procedures
