Customer Success Clinical Trainer (3298)
Position Summary: The Customer Success Clinical Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering clinical training on Mevion proton therapy systems, as well as on new product features. In addition to serving as a key contact for customers and building strong relationships, this role also handles the escalation of customer requests through cross-functional teams. This position will report to Manager, Clinical Solutions & Training. Essential Functions: Design and enhance clinical education programs to support both new and current technologies. Identify and manage potential risks for clinical adoptions of the new clinical applications. Driving continuous improvement on the clinical application adoption process. Keeping current in treatment techniques, clinical protocols, and education methodology through continuous education and professional improvement. Applying clinical experience & knowledge to improve the end-to-end user experience of Mevion product offerings, including integrations with third party solutions. Developing customer-facing documentation associated with field actions, potential safety issues, etc. Act as the point of contact for customer accounts, cultivating strong relationships by effectively identifying and addressing customer clinical needs. Conduct regular customer meetings, both virtually and on-site, and coordinate with cross- functional internal teams to advocate for customer needs. Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns. Education, Training, & Experience: ARRT certification required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of Radiation oncology clinical experience with in-depth knowledge of clinical environment and workflow. Proton Therapy experience preferred. Leadership skill with demonstrated ability to make important decisions, to delegate and coordinate effectively, to manage multi-tasks efficiently. Experience as a teacher or instructor, with supporting evidence. Preferred Skills: Quickly learn and clearly explain complex clinical technologies used in products Systems knowledge includes: Particle accelerators X-ray and CT imaging Image fusion Record & verify informatics Patient positioning/support systems Mechanical systems User interfaces and applications Familiarity with radiotherapy accelerators and related equipment Experience developing curriculum and lesson plans Strong presentation skills (public speaking + computer tools) Coaching and consulting experience with proven results Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision Customer-focused with a commitment to client success Interested in creative, effective knowledge-sharing methods (e.g., social media) Physical and Environmental Considerations: Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Required use of standard office equipment including laptop, phone, copier, etc. Typical office environment. 30-40 % domestic travel is required: occasional international travel. The use of the equipment requires physical work in lifting and manipulating heavy objects.
